Inizio la presentazione del nuovo cd della Piedmont Brothers Band 'Compasses & Maps', 
in uscita a giugno (prevendite: marcozanzi@tin.it) con il primo brano. Si tratta di una cover, MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL, scritta e interpretata nell'originale da Dyann & Michael Woody. I due immaginano un messaggio inviato da Michael Clarke (foto in alto), celebre musicista dei Byrds, morto per alcolismo. 
Nella stupenda versione PBB abbiamo Ron Martin (voce solista), Marco Zanzi (12 corde Rickenbacker, 6 e 12 corde chitarra acustica, dobro, mandolino e voce), Gene Parsons (foto, coi baffi), ex Byrds (Pedal steel guitar, duet & harmony vocals), Mike Gallivan (basso) e Patrick Shanahan (batteria).
