Lo ammetto, attendevo con impazienza di poter parlare della canzone n° 6 del nuovo cd della Piedmont Brothers Band, 'Compasses and Maps'. Si tratta di 'Sweet baby James'. A parte che sono un grande ammiratore di James Taylor, davvero inimitabile, ma qui la PBB non cerca certo di imitare il grande, dolce James, ma ci regala una versione memorabile. Grazie soprattutto a Katherine Kelly Walczyk (foto in alto), voce solista, agli arrangiamenti, alle scelte armoniche, ai controcanti di Cecilia e Marco Zanzi (foto). Una canzone che vale i dodici euro dell'intero cd. Bravi davvero!
